Our client is a National Charity who have a vacancy within their HR function for a HR adviser to join their rapidly expanding team. Reporting directly to the HR Manager you will be part of a team working to develop both the business, its workforce and promote the charitable objectives of the business.
Working as a Generalist HR Adviser you will not only develop and implement new policies and procedures as dictated by new legislation and HR best practice.
You will also provide the business with advice regarding the interpretation and application of existing HR Policy and procedure.
The role will require you to maintain and review the existing policies and procedures of the business and adapt these where necessary offering training and support to the management team where necessary.
Responsible for managing all Employee relations cases throughout the business you will display a proactive and innovative approach to providing solutions.
Experience of and a willingness to undertake a role in change management focussed situations would be a distinct advantage within this role.
In order to be capable of managing the challenges provided by this opportunity you will certainly need to be able to satisfy the following criteria:
- CIPD Qualified Level 4 or above
- You must have in excess of 3 years’ experience in a modern progressive HR Department
- Experience of delivering advice to senior management and Board Level presentations
- You will have an excellent knowledge and understanding of both Employment Law and HR Best Practice, especially in the area of Employee Relations, disciplinary and grievance procedures
- You will be up to date with your CPD and be willing to pursue a targeted approach to its continuation.
